Happy Valentine's Day
It has been an awesome journey from our first dance to today. I knew there was something special about you when we first met 14 years ago. Today I know that "specialness" includes, but is not limited to: a kind and caring person, a loyal friend, the perfect gentleman, a jokester, a companion, someone who looks out for everyone, and an easy person to love. I couldn't have asked for a better hubby - you are my everything.

Goodbye & Hello
The time has come to say GOODBYE to the things that have given me comfort over the past few months: candy, cookies, ice cream, french fries, the list goes on and on and on
.....and it's time to say HELLO to the things I don't necessary love as much, but I appreciate: Mr. Treadmill, Jillian Michaels, Bob Gunner, Debi Severs, Tony Horton, Mr. Pool, The streets of Laveen, Group X, the list goes on and on and on.Posted by Jason and Ashlee at 12:08 PM 13 comments

A little bit of me, or a whole lot of you???
Most people say..."oh, she looks just like Jason - she is definitely a Watson." But then you see our baby pictures and people start singing a different tune - "oh, she looks just like Ashlee did as a baby, now all I see when I look at her is Ashlee."
Anyway you slice it... she is a little of both of us. Some days she pulls faces that look more like one of us and the next day - it's totally different. Either way, we'll keep her.
What do you think???

A couple first's
It's hard to get a variety of picture at this stage because most of the time she is sleeping & i'm sure you don't want to look at dozens of sleeping pictures. Luckily, she cooperated in some of the pictures.
The last two weeks have been wonderful. Here are some of Emree's 1st.
Both Bodie and Abby were very gentle with Emree. You could tell Bodie really wanted to kiss her, but I think he knew Staci was watching and he didn't want to get into trouble.
Christmas day - doing what she does best. She loves her dad & i'm pretty sure she has Jason wrapped around her little finger.

I admit....I've been a slacker blogger
Not too much has been going on with Jason and myself. Maybe that is why I haven't been apart of the blogging world lately, but I thought I should document some fun things we did during the past month, so we have record & the memory.
D-Backs v. Dodgers
Thanks to the Watson family for inviting us to celebrate Brad's birthday with him. We "enjoyed" watching the D-backs get creamed by the dodgers. Even though they lost - it was still fun to get together and people watch, eat a d-backs hotdog, and enjoy all the other baseball game spectacles.

Rock it!!
I wish we were able to sneak a camera into the Def Leopard / Poison concert. We actually tried, but they made us take it to our car. We do have pictures on our cell phones - but I need to figure out how to get them on here. Maybe I'll post pictures later.
Anyway...the concert was loud, hot, full of drunk people - always fun to watch, and great music!! The concert was at Cricket Pavillion, which is outside. Lucky for us, that day happened to be 110. We were soaked by the end, but had a great time singing those great songs. I actually think my ears are still recovering.
Running on FumesA short funny story....We decided to rent a van to drive up to the St. George marathon. I'll spare you the details of how long it took Staci and Bacho to even get the van, but nonetheless - we had ourselves a Toyota Sienna Van. We had about a 1/4 tank leaving our house in Laveen. We voted we could make it to Wickenburg on that 1/4 tank as well as getting some lunch. We were about halfway between Wickenburg and Wikiup when Bacho says "oops - we forgot to get gas, " we all replied - that's ok, we'll make it- the light hasn't come on yet. Not a minute later - that bright yellow light came flashing on. Next, Staci clicks through the car guide that tells us how many more miles we can go until empty. We all saw 7 miles until empty followed by the road sign that read no services for the next 31 miles. The miles clicked down so quickly, and then the big fat 0 stared at us. By now we are all worried, planning what we will do and who will perform what task. Bacho 'drafted' behind each car / truck that he could, put it in neutral & coasted whenever possible, and we turned off the AC. Oh...did I mention the next 31 miles were uphill & no cell service. The four of us were so gratefull when we climbed the last hill and saw that little Shell gas station. Moral of the story...fill up the tank or if you forget make sure you are driving a Toyota Sienna that gives you 20+ miles grace period .
Baby bump watch
Sorry to disappoint, but I don't have a picture to post with this update. However, I will tell you - I started showing around 22-23 weeks. Most people are still affraid to ask if I am pregnant, which means I just look fat - or as a lovely friend told me - "you just look pudgy." Thank you for that. Sigh -tear!! Everything is going great. I feel great, and I can't complain about anything. Jason has been able to feel her moving around - which he loves. We still haven't decided a name, I finally purchased my first baby thing 2 days ago - a baby monitor, and we are very excited to bring this baby girl into our family.
